Our Youth Program is designed to work with children and young adults from ages 7 to 16. The objective is to motivate and inspire young student actors.

The sky’s the limit when we combine acting, voice, improvisation, writing, production, film making and your child’s imagination. The goal of Saturday Conservatory is to create an energized environment in which instructors motivate and inspire young students to develop problem-solving skills, self-confidence and self-growth in order to become self-empowering.

One Year Practical Filmmaker- Saturday’s 10:00-12:00

This course will benefit young actors who are serious and ready to launch a career. A select group of young filmmakers will spend 2 semesters learning and understanding the various roles required in film production.  Each student produces, writes, directs and acts in commercials, industrials and short films.

First Semester – Each student will learn the foundations of producing, directing, screenwriting, directing actors for the camera, acting for the camera, cinematography, sound and design.
Second Semester -Students write, direct and shoot a short film of up to seven minutes with multiple tracks of sound including ambiance, sound effects and voice over.

At each stage , from concept to finished piece, students will work under the supervision of the instructors. Our instructors cover theoretical and technical topics which will deepen each students knowledge and hone technical skills.

Sign Language Acting !  (Ages 7-10 ) and (ages 11-14)- Saturday’s 1:00-2:00 (7-10) 2:00-3:00 (11-14)

Learn the love of Acting! This class is specifically designed for those with hearing loss.  Work on scene study with a Profession Theatre Director while being interpreted through sign language. Students will learn scripts to perform that will culminate into a final showcase!

Warriors in Training! Ages 3-4 Boys – Thursday’s 10:00-10:45 a.m.

Join us as we explore imaginary play with props and costumes as cowboys and Indians, Knights slaying dragons, animals and Roman Soldiers. Scenes will be set up to develop acting and improv skills.  Imaginative Play is essential to a Child’s Cognitive Thinking Development.

Princess Play! Ages 3-4 Girls -Thursday’s 11:00-11:45

Join us as we explore imaginary play with props and costumes as princess, animals, and the CEO of your own Company! Scenes will be set up to develop acting and improv skills. Imaginative Play is essential to a Child’s Cognitive development.

Did you know that Music and Imaginary Play is essential in the development to Cognitive Thinking ? Come and learn the lost Art Form of  nursery rhymes and songs to sing with to your child.
